As a result of her suicide, organizations such Wiredsaftey, Isafe and Missingkids have asked for teenage bloggers to take extra thought into messages shared especially anonymous has been enabled. Wiredsaftey said “we should take the sad loss of Hallie as a public statement to those who do bully or harass others online”. They know what they’re saying and they’re doing it on purpose. How often do you see the bullies go, “Oh she was so happy and beautiful, why did she do this? She had no reason to”? You don’t, because they are well aware that they’re driving someone to suicide. They get on anonymously or not and tell a person they’re worthless, fat, good for nothing, and should go kill themselves. They’re not saying those things lightly or because they’re joking. Bullies don’t grow consciences over night. They’re dickbags through and through, and telling them to wake the fuck up and realize what they’re saying isn’t going to do much. Maybe to the ones who didn’t really mean it (yeah right), or the ones who were just doing what they thought was cool because everyone else picked on the person. But to the people who make bullying their life.. You can’t get through to them.
